Using the materials in this section: Guidance for teachers

This is a web based learning resource and is best accessed through students working either individually or in pairs directly onto the computer, especially so the pupils can access the audio clips available here.

Each topic has a scheme of work and example lesson plans, and a number of ‘pupil question sheets’ to use in these lessons. The 1945 election scheme of work is available for download below, along with the accompanying pupil question sheets.
