Oxf. 28 May 1744, aged 17.  m. 19 Mar. 1757, Margaret, da. of Robert Lowther, sis. of Sir James Lowther, 5th Bt., 1s. 2da.  suc. fa. as 2nd Earl of Darlington, 6 Mar. 1758.

Biography

Vane was returned unopposed for Durham County in 1754. He was classed as an Administration supporter by Dupplin in 1754. No vote or speech by him is reported in the Parliament of 1754.

He died 8 Sept. 1792.
