Oxf. 1732.  m. 6 Oct. 1750, Lady Charlotte Seymour, da. of Charles, 6th Duke of Somerset, 8s. 4da.  suc. fa. as 3rd Earl 29 June 1757.

Offices Held


Lord Guernsey was returned unopposed for Maidstone in 1754 and was classed by Dupplin as a Tory. He was connected with George Grenville, and on 13 Nov. 1755 voted against the subsidy treaties.

He died 9 May 1777.
