Biography
Bridgeman sat for Wigan on the family interest, supported by the Duke of Portland. Like his father he acted with the Rockingham party, opposing North’s Government, but owing to poor health probably did not attend the House after the summer recess of 1781—in the early months of 1782 he was abroad.
He died v.p. 26 July 1782.
