(1) 14 July 1761, Mary Ann (d. 30 Dec. 1769), da. and coh. of Sir Thomas Drury, 1st Bt., 4da.; (2) 24 Sept. 1770, Caroline, da. of William Conolly, 3s. d.v.p. 1da. suc. fa. 22 Sept. 1756.

Hobart was returned as a Whig for St. Ives and Norwich on his family’s interest in 1747, choosing to sit for Norwich. He died 3 Sept. 1793.
