3rd s. of Sir John Homer of Cloford, by his 1st w. Meriel, da. of John Malte of London, and bro. of Thomas. educ. M. Temple 1583.
Homer came into Parliament for Taunton through the influence of his family when the death of Alexander Pym created a vacancy in February 1585. He died in February 1621 and was buried in Cloford church.
