Biography
When, in 1391, Gate was returned to Parliament for Wareham for the second time, it was only shortly after he had relinquished the post of bailiff of the town. In 1409 he became a feoffee of lands in Wiltshire, Hampshire, and Dorset for Robert Craford* of Wareham.2
