Biography
Drewe was one of the burgesses of Bodmin who in about 1394 were cited in a petition to the chancellor by Sir Henry Ilcombe* for withholding services due to him as lord of the manor of Kirland, and for breaking down his enclosures.
C1/16/108. It was probably another John Drewe who, at the parliamentary elections at Bodmin many years later, in 1419, offered securities for the town’s representatives: C219/12/3.
