(1) 23 June 1784, Henrietta Frances (d. 25 July 1791), da. of Sir Thomas Worsley, 6th Bt., of Appuldurcombe, I.o.W., 1s. 2da.; (2) 27 Nov. 1793, Grace, da. of Samuel Estwicke, 7s. 6da. suc. uncle Lindley Simpson 1785, and took name of Simpson.

Biography

Bridgeman sat for Wenlock, where his father was recorder, but gave up his seat when George Forester wished to re-enter Parliament. Bridgeman’s only recorded vote in this period was against Pitt’s Irish commercial propositions, and he is not known to have spoken.

He died 5 June 1850.
