Biography

Defeated at Penryn in 1734, Trefusis was returned unopposed for Truro on the Boscawen interest, voting against the Administration on the Westminster bridge bill, 31 Mar. 1736,1 to which the common council of the city of London was bitterly opposed, on the Spanish convention in 1739, and on the place bill in 1740. He did not stand in 1741, dying in August 1742.
