Biography

Pelham was brought into Parliament by his first cousin, the Duke of Newcastle, soon after coming of age. He supported the Government except in the case of the peerage bill, on which he was absent. Returned by Newcastle for Lewes in 1722, he died of consumption 2 June 1725.
