Biography

Robert Leeves was a native of Steyning, for which he was re-elected as a Tory in 1715, voting against the septennial bill before he was unseated on petition for bribery in 1717. He did not stand again, but continued to take part in local politics.1

He died 15 May 1743, aged 58.2
