Offices Held


In 1619 the Lees, an old Buckinghamshire family, inherited Hartwell, sitting for the neighbouring borough of Aylesbury throughout the reigns of Charles II and William III. Lee himself represented Wycombe on his own and the Wharton interest until 1722, when he was returned for the county with the support of Sunderland and the ministry.
