Biography

Descended from an old Devonshire family, Christopher Harris was classed as a Tory in 1715. Returned for Okehampton on the Mohun and his family’s interests, he was absent from the division on the septennial bill in 1716. He died 1718 (buried 4 July) v.p., aged 31.
