Biography

Borlase was returned for Marlow to the Exclusion Parliaments on the family interest. Shaftesbury marked him ‘honest’, but he obtained leave to go into the country on 5 May 1679 and was absent from the division on the first exclusion bill. He left no further trace on the records of the House. He was buried at Little Marlow on 19 July 1681.3
