Biography

Little else is known of Poynaunt save that he contributed £1 towards the city of Salisbury’s share of a parliamentary subsidy levied in 1417, and 10s.to one raised in 1427; and in October 1419 he was named an executor of the will of John Milbourne, nephew and esquire of John Chitterne, archdeacon of Salisbury.2
