Biography

Nothing is known for certain about this obscure figure, although in 1455 a person of the same name, who may perhaps have been his son, was receiver of the estates of the prior of St. Andrews, near Northampton. Some nine years later, in June 1464, Agnes, the widow of one or other of the two men, made a will in which she settled two cottages in the parish of St. Sepulchre upon her executors, having instructed them to make the necessary arrangements for her burial in the church.
