Biography

During the early 15th century, the Birkrig family owned land in Rough Hill in Bampton, Westmorland. A reversionary interest in the property was held by one Thomas Baty of Salkeld, who relinquished his title in 1431, but nothing else is known about the Birkrigs during this period.2
